Can I add radon testing to my home inspection?
Yes. Radon testing can easily be added to your home inspection. We’ll place the professional continuous radon monitor, collect the required readings, and provide your results once testing is complete.
Do you offer radon testing by itself?
Yes. Stand-alone radon testing is available for homeowners, buyers, sellers, or anyone who simply wants to know the radon level inside a home. A full home inspection is not required.
How do I receive the results?
Once testing is complete, you’ll receive an easy-to-read digital report showing the radon measurements and overall test results.
Can you test a home that already has a mitigation system?
Yes. Homes with an existing radon mitigation system can still be tested. Periodic testing can help determine whether the system is continuing to keep radon levels reduced.
Do you provide radon mitigation?
No. Advanced Home Inspectors provides professional radon testing. If elevated radon levels are found, we recommend consulting a qualified radon mitigation professional to discuss mitigation options.
How long is the testing period?
Most short-term real estate radon tests require approximately 48 hours of monitoring. During the testing period, our professional continuous radon monitor records radon measurements over time.
